"But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God and wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life." (Jude 1:20–21)
St Jude is traditionally known as the patron saint of impossible, difficult and hopeless cases. In this colourful, vibrant painting, his gaze meets ours with profound understanding and compassion. Carrying the brightly burning flame of the Holy Spirit and holding a medallion of Jesus in his hand, he stands as a reminder that we are never truly alone, no matter how desperate we may be. He is always there to pray with us and give us hope and encouragement in our troubled world.
