"Signore, ti amo!"
This tranquil portrait captures the late Pope Benedict XVI, one of the most profound and influential theologians of modern times, in a moment of deep, interior solitude. Rendered with meticulous brushwork, the painting centres on the late Holy Father in a deeply prayerful and contemplative pose, embodying the quiet intellect and spiritual humility that defined his papacy. The vibrant, majestic red and gold trim vestments are striking as the artist brilliantly balances the grandeur of the papal vestments with the intimate humility of a lifetime dedicated to faith and sacred scholarship.
